I purchased a Maytag Bravos 300 Series Dryer in April 2010.

Model Number MED8200VQ0

Serial Number MO1190****

A month after the warranty expired, we had a one second power outage in our home. The power outage blew an electronic board in the dryer. No other electronics or appliances in our home were impacted by the outage.

Called Maytag's Customer Service and send them a complaint via their website and postal service. Maytag didn't seem to care and wouldn't pay to replace the board because the dryer was1 month out of warranty.

It cost over $300 to repair.

Do NOT purchase this dryer. Dryers should be built to withstand minor power outages and should certainly last more than 13 months.

Location: Dallas, Texas

maytag used to be a good product, not anymore, nothing but trouble with my maytag Bravo washer, water gets behind the control board and renders washing maschine useless until dried out, then it works again for 1 to 2 washes same thing. Never again will I buy anything maytag. Not a good product anymore.
