I have a Maytag Neptune Stackable MLG2000AWW, it is my secondary washer.dryer, so therefore it doesn't get the workout my other unit does. It is five years old, and is on it's second motor board assembly repair.
Costing me 880.00. If that's not the only issue, the part is on backorder until November... it's July. Also, this part was the issue in a Class Action Suit in 2004.
I don't think the issue is fixed yet, but they don't care. Their customer service is absolutely useless. Do you think they could TRY to locate the part from a dealer/distributor, etc. that may just have one available.
Nope, all I get is "sorry, you don't have the extended warranty, there is nothing we can do" Seriously, this is what they say.
ALL I CAN SAY IS I WILL NEVER EVER PURCHASE A MAYTAG OR WHIRLPOOL APPLIANCE AGAIN. My only retribution is to warn others.
