Bravos XL worst ever do not buy Maytag
Maytag washer MVWB850YG purchased in 2012 for $1100.00, the worst washer we have ever owned. It does not clean our cloths.
We had to wash the clothes twice and it still left lent stains on our black cloths. The dryer would not remove the lent. The jeans faded and started creating hole in the faded areas. We finally were fed up realizing it took more water running the machine twice for every load.
This Bravos XL in the end used more water in the end to clean our clothes properly than the old machine with the agitator that filled up with water, it takes water to clean clothes, and we replaced the washer in 2016. We could not get sears to fix the machine and was told it was a water saver, a complete joke waste of money and it ruined more clothes than it washed.
I always trusted Maytag and I have purchased a lot of washers and dryers over the years. Maytag sold out and thatโs when the new owners decided to short change the brand then over price their units.
Reason of review: Bad quality.
Monetary Loss: $1100.
Preferred solution: Full refund.
Maytag Cons: Poor product.

I agree with this completely. Our Bravo XL is 1 1/2 years old and have had to have it repaired under warranty 4 times.
The last of which was replacement of both control boards. That was only about 4 months ago. Now it has the same problem and is no longer under warranty. It has never done a good job of cleaning our clothes and in fact has ruined hundreds of dollars of clothes because it leaves stains on the clothes from the liquid fabric softener.
When I complained of this issue to the service tech, we were told to either pour the fabric softener in the bottom of the drum before loading it or not use fabric softener at all.
Absolutely the worst washer ever. I will not spend a dime to repair this piece of garbage washer and will most likely never buy another Maytag/Whirlpool product.
