Apr 8, 2008 Maytag compliment by Winteel |
This is to everyone out there who wants to keep writing bad stuff about Maytag/Whirlpool. I know that it is frustrating whenever you receive a product that is damaged, but it is not always Maytag fault. The delivery person could have done it or it could have just heppened during the shipment of being in the box, so why do you call Maytag and scream at the representative on the phone? It is not their fault and they are on the other line trying to help you any way that they can.
I also know it is frustrating to get a new appliance and within the first few days something happens with it. The products are man-made and no matter if it is Maytag, GE, Frigidaire, or whoever it is going to happen. That is why Maytag offers the 1 yr warr for the applaince because they know that more than likely if something is going to happen with the unit it will be within the first year. I own a few Maytag appliances and have had a few problems but I stay calm, call the 1-800 # and see what they can offer for me. STOP yelling at the person on the phone, it is NOT their fault. If you want assistance with your appliance, be nice..
Act your age, not your shoe size..Treat others as you would like to be treated..Remember all those rules everyone use to preach to us growing up? Well take them into affect and be courteous. Enjoy your appliance and if something happens call for help and remember if you are nice, they may offer more that you would expect..

You know... i understand if your upset that your appliance doesn't work correctly, but things happen. Even if it is Maytag's fault, it isn't the person who you're talking to on the phone who builds the appliance. Put your place in their shoes. What if you had 100, 50, or even 5 rude people call and *** at you for something you have no control over? Have some courtesy!

it is hard being a representative and getting yelled at all day. I have been there and done that and some of those people can be realy rude. it does make you angry to get an appliance that doesnt work but screaming at the person on the phone is just going to make it worse b/c they arent going to want to help you or offer anything for you. be respectful to others and of yourself....

I took apart a transmission from a heavy duty Legacy washer that went out just as the warranty expired. What I found was a badly engineered piece of crap with plastic gears. Don't tell me to stop complaining! I know of another washer doing the same thing. Do I smell class action?

It sounds like you may be the person on the other end of the phone. Don't take it personally as people have a right to be angry when they spend their money on NEW items and they don't work. I've been there, done that and also work with people.
