Maytag air conditioner

Maytag complaint

I purchased a Maytag air conditioner from Menards and the blower motor went out in it. So I took it in to a repair shop,In the owners manual it states that this unit has a 5 year warranty parts and labor on it.The repair shop told me that it would not be covered under warranty another company built it for maytag corp.(that company has filed for bankruptcy)because they made it for them, Matag won't pay for any repairs even though their name is on the unit.this only took 6 phone calls to find this all out!

Can any body help me out ??
